📚 Understanding Your Lexile Score

If you take the Georgia Milestones ELA test, you will receive a Lexile score. Your Lexile score gives you an idea of your reading level based on how well you understand and interpret what you read.

Your Lexile score can help you:

  • 📖 Find books that are a good fit for your reading level.
  • 📈 Track your reading growth.
  • 🎓 See how your reading skills compare to the level needed for college and a career.

Georgia uses Lexile ranges to help show whether students are reading at, above, or below the expected level for their grade.
