Science Bowl Team wins First Place  The AR Johnson 8th grade Science Bowl team won First Place at the Richmond County Science Bowl held at the Augusta Public Library on May 11th.  The 8th grade team had the Highest Seeding Test Score for the district.  Congratulations to all the students who participated.

Congratulations to Patrick Jean-Pierre, a freshman, for having the low score in the Region 3AAA Golf Tournement.  He advances to the state championship tournement

CSRA Youth of the Year!
Congratulations to Canaan Wright!! He has been selected as the CSRA Youth of the Year presented by the Boys and Girls Club.  He is now in the running for the Georgia Youth of the Year.  A great clip from Fox 54 TV is available when you click here.

The Middle School Math Team represented ARJ at the RCSS Math Competition at GRU and won 1st Place overall team for the competition.

Last Day of School Information

Comprehensive High School students will dismiss at 12:00 pm and Magnet School students in grades 9-12 will dismiss at 12:45 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015.  Elementary and Middle School students in grades PreK-8 will dismiss at their normal times on Friday, May 22, 2015.  We hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

The Richmond County School System is proud to announce the offering of Virtual Summer School 2015. The Virtual Summer School will launch on May 23rd for all Richmond County K-8 students and end on August 2, 2015. For complete details, please click here.

Testing Tips - GaDOE

FreeOnline ExPreSS (Exam Preparation for Science and Social Studies) will be offered by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) online to all high school students  and certificate of attendance recipients who were unsuccessful on or who have not yet taken the Science and/or Social Studies Georgia High School Graduation Test.
